This may affect your 2025 property taxes.NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for West Albany Township shall meet at the Theilman Opera House at 10:00 a.m. the 17th day of April, 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review your valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization. WEST ALBANY TOWNSHIP BOARD will receive quotes for blading roads, snow plowing, sanding roads, mowing road ditches, and general road repair. Separate quotes will be received for crushed rock to be delivered on roads in the Township. There is approximately 18 miles of road. In 2023, West Albany Township used approximately 3,780 tons of crushed rock. Please quote crushed rock by the ton. All quotes must be delivered to the Theilman Opera House and in the hands of the Town Clerk at 8:00 p.m. on April 8, 2024. Quotes will also be accepted by the Town Clerk before April 8, 2024 at her home. The quotes accepted must furnish certificates of workman’s compensation and liability insurance. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes. The Board will meet at the Theilman Opera House, 62643 261st Avenue, Theilman, MN at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024, to open the quotes. Notice to Zumbro Township Residents. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal of the Township of Zumbro in Wabasha County, MN is scheduled for Wednesday the 17th day of April, 2024 from 6:30 to 7 p.m. This will be held at Hammond City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting and show cause of having such assessment corrected. No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint. NOTICE: Zumbro Township: Zumbro Township will be accepting quotes for the following: snow plowing, road blading, rocking for icy roads and general maintenance of approximately 29.08 miles of roads for 2024. Also accepting quotes for: Class 2 crushed rock delivered and truck spread, mowing, brush cutting and tree trimming. A certificate of insurance must accompany all quotes. Reclaim existing asphalt in place, Fine grade base course to drain water and compact. Pave 3” average compacted depth asphalt in two lifts. Place aggregate base shoulders 12” wide where applicable along new asphalt. Staying 25’ away each side of RR tracks. 2. 347th Ave Way 3445’x22’/24’-width varies. Includes 2 Cul de Sacs, Rainwater Ct. & Wells Creek Ct. Same specifications as stated above. 3. Seal coating for Territorial Rd. (from Cty. Rd. 5 to gravel). Lakeview Dr. (from Territorial Rd. to Yield sign). Lakeview Dr. (332nd St. to Hwy. 61). Yield sign to Staehli Park Rd. Staehli Park Rd. (Hwy. 61 to gravel. 325th from Lakeview Dr. to end). Thoroughly clean existing surface with a self-propelled broom. Apply 170 degree emulsified asphalt (CRS-2) by full width distributer. Apply cover aggregate (l/4” granite) & spread on evenly over surface with fullwidth self-propelled chip spreader. Roll with pneumatic-treaded roller.
