Annual Meeting: The Zumbro Falls Cemetery Association will hold their annual meeting Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at Zumbro Falls City Hall.

The Gillford Township Board of Supervisors will hold its regular monthly meetings at 8:00 p.m. on the first Monday of every month unless this falls on a holiday, it would then be held the following night at Bill Cronin’s Residence, 35356 Wabasha County Rd 72, Lake City, MN 55041. These are the scheduled meetings unless otherwise posted and/or advertised. Jordon Wright, Clerk.

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP NOTICE: On April 20, 2026, the Florence Township Board adopted Ordinance 2026-02 “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FLORENCE TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES”. Ordinance No. 2026-02 amends Section 4 of the township’s zoning ordinance by renaming the section and adding new demolition-permit requirements. The amendment establishes when a Township Demolition Permit is required, outlines limited exemptions, including emergency situations, and sets standards for permit duration, site restoration, utility disconnection, and Historic District review. The ordinance also clarifies the relationship between Township, County, and State demolition requirements and directs the Zoning Administrator to incorporate the changes into the official zoning ordinance.
