NOTICE TO FLORENCE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS: Interested in the future of the Old Frontenac’s Villa Maria? Villa owner John Rupp will discuss his latest development plans and solicit community input at the next meeting of the Florence Township Planning Commission. Notice to Zumbro Township Residents. There will be a public hearing to go over the updates wanted for Peter Rhee parcel ID R17.00141.00 Condition Use Permit to build and to use part of the property for a small retreat business. Notice to Zumbro Township Residents. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal of the Township of Zumbro in Wabasha County, MN is scheduled for Thursday the 17th day of April, 2023 at 10 a.m. This will be held at Hammond City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting and show cause of having such assessment corrected. No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent, shall have been notified of such complaint. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for Pepin Township will be open from April 10, 2025 - May 16, 2025-Contact the Assessor’s Office for an Appointment Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.-Phone: 651-565-3669 or Email: LBAE@co.wabasha.mn.us. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.
