Township Notices - August 1, 2024
NOTICE: The Minnesota State Historic Preservation Review Board will consider additional documentation of the Old Frontenac Historic District at a virtual public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024. A link for the meeting, as well as much more information, can be found at https://mn.gov/admin/shpo/registration/review-board/meetings/. The additional documentation, to be presented by National Register of Historic Places architectural historian Ginny Way based on research by Carole Zellie of Landscape Research LLC, does not change the district’s original boundaries; however, it does clarify the contributing status for resources within the district. If you do not have internet access and would like a copy of this material, or have questions about the process, please contact the Minnesota State Historical Preservation Office at 651-201-3287 or MNSHPO@state.mn.us. -- Pamela Miller, Florence Township clerk.
