Mount Pleasant Filing Dates: Affidavits of Candidacy for Mount Pleasant Township may be filed with the Mount Pleasant Township Clerk, starting on December 31, 2024 through January 14, 2025, until 5:00 p.m. for the offices of: One Supervisor for a 3 year term and for One Treasurer for a 2 year term. NOTICE TO FLORENCE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS: An election for two township board seats – one for a supervisor for a three-year term, one for the treasurer for a two-year term – will be held at the Florence Town Hall from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, which is also the evening of our township’s annual meeting. The candidate filing period runs from Dec. 31, 2024, to Jan. 14, 2025. Town clerk Pam Miller will be at the Town Hall from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 14 to accept filings, or can do so by appointment at 612-518-6526 at other times during the filing period.
