Important Information Regarding Assessment and Classification of Property. This may affect your 2025 property taxes. OPEN BOOK MEETING: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for Lake Township shall meet at the Wabasha County Courthouse from April 11, 2024 to May 17, 2024 – Contact the Assessor’s Office for an Appointment Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.. to 4:00 p.m.. - Phone: 651-565-3669 or email: LBAE@co.wabasha.mn.us. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization. GILLFORD TOWNSHIP is seeking quotes for C1, 2 or 5, 3/4 road rock delivered and spread. Also seeking quotes for snow plowing, weed mowing, road blading, sanding for icy roads and general maintenance. There are approximately 33 miles of roads. All quotes along with certificate of insurance should be presented at the April 1, 2024 township monthly meeting. This meeting is held at 35356 Co. Rd. 72 at 8:00 p.m. The township board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes. All work is done at the direction of the township board. Kathy Heise, clerk.
