Wabasha County Board of Adjustment - June 12 hearings

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE
WABASHA COUNTY
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Wabasha County Board of Adjustment will conduct public hearings starting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 for the purpose of hearing evidence regarding the following requests:
1. Public hearing for the application submitted by Mary Romig requesting a variance from Chapter 11.02 (1) & (2) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to place a dwelling within a bluff impact zone. The subject property is Wabasha County parcel  R04.00100.00 located in Section 12, Township 110 North, Range 11 West, of Glasgow Township (20694 Highway 60).
2. Public hearing for the application submitted by Derek Johnson requesting a variance from Article 14 Section 4 Subd.1 of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to place a deck within the floodway.The subject property is Wabasha County parcel R17.00347.00 located in Section 34, Township 109 North, Range 14 West, of Zumbro Township (40674 Ryans Bay Road).
3. Public hearing on the variance application submitted by David Rahman requesting a variance from Chapter 11.02 (1) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to allow the expansion of a non-conforming structure within a bluff impact zone (BIZ). The subject property is described as R17.00292.12 located in Section 34, Township 109 North, Range 14 West of Zumbro Township (40108 563rd St.).
4. Public Hearing on the variance application submitted by Shari Sexton requesting a variance from Chapter 5.04 (1) & (2) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to exceed the allowable dwelling density of the A-2 District. The subject property is described as R03.00260.03 located in Section 29, Township 110 North, Range 013 West in Gillford Township (36225 County Road 72).
The public hearings will take place in the County Board Room, Courthouse Annex, 625 Jefferson Avenue, Wabasha, Minnesota.  Any interested person may provide testimony whether in person or by way of written comment submitted to the Wabasha Zoning Department. Written comments will be read into the record during the respective public hearing.
The applications are on file in the Wabasha County Zoning Department and may be reviewed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
