Wabasha County Board of Adjustment - June 9 Hearing
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE
WABASHA COUNTY
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Wabasha County Board of Adjustment will conduct public hearings starting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 for the purpose of hearing evidence regarding the following requests:
1) Public hearing on the variance application submitted by Dan Zimmerman requesting a variance from Minnesota Statutes 394.36 subd. 4 in order to expand a non-conforming accessory structure and Chapter 13.10(4)(d) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to exceed the allowable 25% of impervious surface coverage of a lot area in the shoreland district. The subject property is Wabasha County parcel R05.00719.00 and is located in Section 2, Township 110, Range 10 West of Greenfield Township (68056 County Road 76 Wabasha, MN 55981).
2) Public hearing on the variance application submitted by Terry Hall requesting a variance from Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance Chapter 11.02(1) to expand a non-conforming structure within the Bluff Impact Zone (BIZ). The subject property is Wabasha County parcel R04.00190.00 and is located in Section 19, Township 110 North, Range 11 West of Glasgow Township (25018 644th Street Theilman, MN).
The public hearings will take place in the County Board Room, Courthouse Annex, 625 Jefferson Avenue, Wabasha, Minnesota. Any interested person may provide testimony whether in person or by way of written comment submitted to the Wabasha Zoning Department. Written comments will be read into the record during the respective public hearing.
The applications are on file in the Wabasha County Zoning Department and may be reviewed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
