4-H Quiz Bowl teams doing well in lead-up to regional competition
Three Wabasha County 4-H dairy quiz bowl teams competed at the southeast Minnesota invitational in Byron on Feb. 24, and two of them placed first. The Intermediate team of Sidney Brown, Ashley Mellgren, Emily Mellgren, and Gavin Wilhelmson placed first, as did the Senior team of Sophie Stelling, Blake Siewert and Nolan Kruger.
The three teams are looking forward to the regional quiz bowl contest on March 9, with the winners advancing to the state competition in April.
The group is coached by Kayla Sexton.
