Back-to-back ties for boys’ soccer team
The Tiger boys soccer team opened the week at home against LaCrescent. Cade Oliver battled through heavy midfield pressure to set up Irakli Surmanidze, who fired in the opening goal. Benny Lopez quickly followed, connecting with Adrian Lopez on a free kick for a transition score. Simon Brand added to the tally with a header, redirecting Adrian Lopez’s free kick past the keeper. Anderson Lopez later gave Lake City the go-ahead goal as the game entered its final stretch.
