Blowout ends two-game skid for Tiger boys

Lake City erased the frustrations of a two game skid in a big way with an 87-64 blowout win over winless Bloomington Kennedy Dec. 31 at the Mayo Civic Center Exhibit Hall. The 87 points represent the highest point total scored this century by a Tigers squad and the second-highest total in school history. The school record for points in a game is 95, set in 1971. Brady Kuchinka had 31 points, four steals and two assists for the Tigers, who scored the opening eight points of the game and led from start to finish.
