Girls golfers finish 2nd behind Red Wing
In Section 1AA play at Cannon Golf Course on May 26 and May 28, No. 1 ranked Red Wing fired an even par back nine to break away from the No. 3 ranked Tigers after both teams were tied after 27 holes of competition to secure the title.
Red Wing shot rounds of 325-310 to win by 20 strokes over Lake City 328-327, followed by Stewartville 388-381, and Lewiston-Altura/Rushford Peterson 386-406, as these four squads emerged as the top four teams after day one of competition.
