Several girls make section track and field podium, five advance to state
On Thursday, May 30, five Tiger girls advanced to the State Meet in track and field from the Section 1A Track and Field Championships in Dodge Center.
Sadie Sanders advanced in the 100 hurdles with a third place finish. She ran 15.75, a personal best time. Olivia Yotter, Eden Olson, Peyton Meincke and Natalie Gates advanced in the 4x800 with a second place finish and a season’s best time of 9:41.01. They will compete at State Thursday, June 6, and Friday, June 7.
