Three from speech team qualify for state

Three members of the Lake City High School speech team will compete at the state speech meet after placing high at the section 1A meet Monday, April 16.
The team as a whole placed third in Section 1A, with six of Lake City’s 15 entries advancing to finals.
Placing sixth were LaQuilla Vanzant Armstrong in Poetry and Tori Oliver in Prose. Mara Goihl placed fourth in Original Oratory.
