A sold out crowd Saturday night at Mayo Civic Auditorium witnessed a dramatic Section 1AA semifinal showdown between two conference rivals that came down to the final shot at the buzzer. Nathan Heise’s three-pointer from the corner was halfway through the cylinder before spinning out giving Byron a 66-63 win as Lake City’s season came to a close for the second time in three years in gut wrenching fashion.
