Tiger girls storm back with win over Century
The Lake City Tiger girls basketball team took on Century on Friday, Dec. 28 in the Mayo Civic arena at Rochester, winning 61-28.
The Tigers went on a 9-0 run at the start of the game and led the whole first half,
Century made a run to get within three, but Lake City took control of the game and kept Century at a distance. With 6:34 to go in the first half the Tigers were up 23-14. Century called a time out but it didn’t help change the momentum. The Tigers went into the locker room with a 18-point lead, 36-18.
