Tiger speech team has seven finalists, five state qualifiers at Section 1A meet

The Lake City Speech Team competed in the 1A Section Tournament on Saturday, April 12.
Nine members had advanced from the Sub-Section meet on Saturday, April 5, along with two alternates. Of the nine section competitors, seven placed and five are advancing to state after placing third or higher.
Broderick Benjamin placed sixth in Discussion and Vincent Myers got sixth in Dramatic Interpretation.
