On Aug. 5, in Phoenix, Ariz., Christy Rice of Lake City competed at the Bench Press Nationals.

Craig Kennedy recorded his third career hole-in-one on July 16 at the Lake City Golf Club. Kennedy aced the 190-yard par-3 third hole using a 5-iron. He was golfing with his father, Mark Kennedy.
