Apparent crest in Wabasha after major flooding

This aerial photo by Lake City photographer Ben Threinen shows widespread flooding in Wabasha on April 23. The river appeared to be cresting there Tuesday at 17.03 feet, more than a foot above major flood stage, according to observations and forecasts from the National Weather Service.
