‘Field of Dreams’ proceeds benefit St. Elizabeth’s

Combines turned corn stalks into stubble as they worked their way through the Field of Dreams that surround Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Clinics.

This year’s corn crop yielded 200 bushels per acre resulting in a donation of $26,322. The Schurhammers’ ongoing support of this annual farm project has raised thousands of dollars that protect and preserve local access to a broad continuum of healthcare, according to a news release.
