$5,000 grant goes to splash pad effort

An effort to raise $100,000 for an interactive fountain or splash pad at Ohuta Park got a boost recently.
The Blandin Community Foundation awarded a $5,000 Blandin Leadership Grant to the effort.
Blandin Leadership grants are available to alumni of the Blandin Community Leadership Program. Lake City sent a second cohort to the program last February. Megan Kramer, a member of the group raising money for the fountain, was one of the 23 people who attended.
