60 defy storm predictions to attend boat blessing

In spite of predicted storms, about 60 Lake City residents, Marina boaters and summer residents of the Point gathered under grey skies on the Lake City Yacht Club deck the morning of Saturday, May 28, for the ninth annual Blessing of the Boats. Past Commodore Steve Loehrer of the Yacht Club welcomed all present. He thanked those who organized the program, the Marina staff for their assistance, and all those in attendance.
