Aktion Club makes $1,000 in donations
The Lake City Kiwanis-sponsored Aktion Club donated at total $1,000 to several of their favorite charities at the March 7 meeting.
“Aktion Club members practice leadership skills, develop self-confidence in their ability to make a difference by doing service projects in their communities,” according to a news release. They have raised funds by selling popcorn at the Farmers Market, garage sales, bake sales, working at Kiwanis events.
They will be participating in the Stewartville Kiwanis Food For Kidz project on April 2.
