American Legion and Auxiliary support Bluff View Elementary School School Patrol
Each year the Louis McCahill American Legion Post 110 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 110 sponsors two boys and two girls to attend Legionville.
Located near Brainerd, Minn., Legionville is a training camp for School Patrol and Bus Patrol officers.
Safety training is the primary program, but they also attend classes in first aid, canoeing and swimming. Americanism, good citizenship and sportsmanship are taught as they participate in athletic and other recreational events, according to a news release.
