Annual meeting, book signing part of Read’s Landing Museum’s end-of-season event
Oct. 8, 2023 will mark the end of 2023 Wabasha County Historical Society, Reads Landing School Museum season.
The annual meeting will be at 1 p.m., which is open to the public. At 2 p.m., the public is also invited to attend a presentation and book signing by Olaf Danielson, author of several books.
During COVID he penned 1.2 million words, the best effort is “Expensive Crossings”, the history of bridges and ferry crossings of the Western Wisconsin border. The story is filled with greed and fraud. Who knew bridges could have so much intrigue?
