Arts group announces youth arts program
Lake City Area Arts (LCAA) has announced its first Summer Youth Arts Program.
Mark Woerpel of the Universal Music Center in Red Wing will be teaching beginning ukulele classes for children aged eight to 18. Lake City Kiwanis has provided funding for Lake City Area Arts to purchase ukuleles that students in this and future classes can use.
Woerpel will also teach Native American flute classes. The flutes will need to be purchased by the students.
