Ause to speak on BWCA wilderness March 15

The Lake City Public Library invites the public to a slide show and discussion on the natural history of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) wilderness led by Bruce Ause, an interpretive naturalist at Frontenac State Park.  This event will take place on Thursday,  March 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the library.
The slide presentation will include iconic plants, white pines, moose, timber wolves, loons, bald eagles and more.
Prior to volunteering at Frontenac State Park, Ause was the Director of the Environmental Learning Center in Red Wing for 30 years.
