Author Julie Schumacher to speak at library
The Lake City Public Library invites the public to a book talk and discussion with novelist, essayist, short story writer and academic Julie Schumacher on Tuesday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m.
Schumacher is a Regents Professor of Creative Writing and English at the University of Minnesota and specializes in creative writing, contemporary fiction, and children’s literature.
Her books include the novel “The Body is Water” and the Professor Jason Fitger trilogy as well as several books for ages 12 and up.
