Bethany hog roast to be Aug. 27
Bethany Lutheran Church of Lake City will be hosting its eighth annual Hog Roast and Block Party on Saturday, Aug. 27 in the church parking lot at 525 S. 6th Street in Lake City, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The entire community is invited to enjoy roasted pork sandwiches, fresh sweet corn, cold slaw, beans, ice cream, treats and beverages.
Music will be provided by the Jim Sexton/Craig Morton Duo. Handicap parking will be available and the event will be held rain or shine.
