Bethany hog roast, block party to be held Aug. 25
Saturday, Aug. 25 is the date of the 10th annual Block Party and Hog Roast hosted by Bethany Lutheran Church. The entire community is invited to join the festivities from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until the food is gone. On the menu is roasted pork sandwiches, fresh sweet corn, cole slaw and beans, as well as ice cream, homemade bars and beverages.
Jim Sexton and Craig Morton will provide music for the event. Attendees may sign up for drawings and door prizes to be held throughout the evening.
Handicap parking will be available and the event will be held rain or shine.
