Big garage sale is here
If you are reading this, then chances are the 100-mile garage sale has already begun.
The annual massive sale is actually hundreds of smaller sales in communities along the Mississippi River stretching from Prescott, Wis., in the north to Winona in the south.
The official sale starts today (Thursday) and runs through Sunday, but some of the sales advertised in this week’s Shopper began on Wednesday.
A few local groups are piggy-backing on the sale weekend to raise money.
