Bike safety event is June 12
The Lake City Environmental Learning Program, Lake City Kiwanis, Lake City Police Department Reserves and the Gardenaire’s Garden Club will be teaming up for a “Bike Fest” event on Sunday, June 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Hok-Si-La Park.
This free event is open to the public. Participating youth will receive an event punch card to fill out as they visit three stations. Participants should bring their own bike and learn more about bike safety, bike maintenance, and test their skills on a skills course.
