Boat blessing to be May 28
The ninth annual Blessing of the Boats will be held on Saturday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at the Lake City Yacht Club attached to the marina building. The program will be conducted on the deck, or inside the club in the event of rain.
Pastor Tim Ehling of First Lutheran Church will be officiating. Coleen Fowler of First Lutheran Church will be in charge of music. Lorne McDonald is coordinating and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will provide programs and ushers. The Lake City Yacht Club will provide coffee and other light refreshments in the club after the program.
