Book collection donation a win-win
A recent donation from Carole Berg of Lake City was received by the Friends of the Lake City Public Library (FLCPL). This donation was a lifetime collection of Civil War books by her late husband, Peter Berg.
This collection was comprised of various sets of books as well as single volume books.
“The pristine condition of all the books was evidence of Mr. Berg’s deep interest and compassion for that era of American history,” the group said in a news release.
