Books for all in honor of former teacher on her birthday

Recently the Peters Memorial Fund honored former Bluff View Elementary School teacher Tessica Peters by giving every child in grades kindergarten through six a free book on what would have been her birthday.

“We put 587 free Books into the hands of our young readers,” the group said.

Tessica Peters and her son, Sawyer are the namesakes of the Peters Memorial Fund organization. They both passed away in 2019.

“We started the Peters Memorial Fund as a way to give back to our community in their honor,” the group said.
