Bridge replacement closes road near Hammond

Wabasha County Hwy. 6 (135th St.) south of Hammond is planned to be closed to all traffic from the intersection of 342nd Ave. to Olmsted County Hwy. 11 beginning approximately Oct. 25 (weather permitting) for the replacement of a bridge, according to the Wabasha County Highway Department.
Through traffic will need to use alternate routes. Work is expected to be completed within three weeks after start of construction, depending on weather.
