Calm before a busy time at Lake City Marina

The outer harbor at Lake City Marina was serene Tuesday, with calm water replacing the recently-melted winter ice.
But in a few weeks the area will be a hive of activity.
Work to put a new deck on the marina’s 800 dock began before ice-out. It’s on schedule to be completed by May 10, according to Jeff Brand, Lake City Marina administrator.
