Care center to get new phone answering system

Beginning Nov. 1, people can reach the care center at Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City by calling 651-345-1140.
Individuals calling the care center will be prompted with a list of menu options that include the care center’s receptionist, nurses’ stations, billing department and human resources. Calls made after hours will be kept local and answered by designated staff at the care center.
