Care center in Lake City receives recognition

The care center at Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City was recently selected as an Infection Prevention and Control Data Champion in recognition of its successful participation in the national Nursing Home C. difficile Initiative.
“We are pleased to receive this recognition,” says MacKenzie Christopher, administrator at the care center in Lake City. “Reporting these metrics to build a baseline in order to help reduce infections is just one example of our staff working hard to keep our residents safe and improve the quality of care they receive.”
