Ceremony planned for Samuelson statue unveiling

A program honoring Ralph Samuelson and to unveil a monument to him will take place 100 years to the minute after Ralph, just one day short of his 19th birthday, made history on Lake Pepin by becoming the first person ever to water ski.

The program begins at 4 p.m., July 2, at Ohuta Park with some remarks from emcee Bruce Carlstrom and local dignitaries.
