Challenge grant announced to support third nursing scholarship
We are fortunate to live in an area where excellent medical care is so close and convenient. If you have been hospitalized, you have observed and appreciated the critical care provided by nurses. It is a wonder to behold! But hospitals are experiencing a shortage of nurses. At times beds are unused due to the nursing shortages.
The Greater Lake City Community Foundation has two nursing scholarship funds that have each reached the $30,000 level. The earnings provide two nursing scholarships annually.
