Chamber moves into its own building

The Lake City Chamber of Commerce has a new home.

Last week the organization moved a block north, from 100 S. Lakeshore Drive to 122 N. Lakeshore Drive. The free-standing building shares a block with Alliance Bank Lake City and Marine Center.

The Chamber’s first day officially operating from the new location was Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The Chamber’s new office was most recently the home of Gillford Mutual Insurance, which merged into Goodhue-based Great Rivers Mutual Insurance. Before that the building was a Subway restaurant.
