Champion trap shooter has local connection

Apple Valley High School’s Kory Miller (junior) recently competed at the World Shooting and Recreation Complex in Sparta, Ill., for the National Trapshooting Championships.  
Kory’s parents are John and Judy (McNee) Miller of Apple Valley who are both 1982 graduates of Lincoln High School.  John is the head coach of the Apple Valley team and also serves on the advisory council for the Minnesota Clay Target League.  Kory’s grandparents are Lillian and the late Leon McNee, and Paul and the late Julia Miller, all of Lake City.
