Church delivers water filters around the world

Paavo Pyykkonen estimates that nearly 3,000 people half a world away have access to safe drinking water thanks to the efforts of the Lake City United Methodist Church.
The church raised $3,400 to purchase 60 Sawyer water filters and dispatched one of its members, Pyykkonen, to travel to the west African country of Liberia to train residents how to use it.
