Church honors police officers

The Rev. Orin Sandberg found an artist’s print he liked so much he wanted to get it for the Lake City Police Department.
The print shows an officer with wings holding a small child.
The presentation turned into a big deal. With some help from Thrivent Financial, Sandberg’s Valley View Assembly of God Church put on a dinner for all the city’s police officers who could make it. They presented the print and gave small gift bags to each of the officers.
