City at work on lakefront

Heavy equipment and piles of large rocks can be found near the shore at Lake City’s Hok-Si-La Park as work is in progress to restore shoreline damaged in last year’s flooding, as well as install mitigation measures, such as rip rap.
As of Feb. 3, rip rap was going in along the shore at the group campsite nearest to the boat launch.
