Civil war music talk is July 16 in Reads Landing
Wabasha County Historical Society will host the presentation “Music in the American Civil War: Developing American Culture” on July 16.
This presentation by Abigail Hall will begin at 2 p.m. at the Reads Landing School Museum.
Hall is a senior at Viterbo University majoring in history and music. She has been a summer intern for the Wabasha County Historical Society, focusing her research project on oral histories.
The program she is involved in, is the Summer Service-Learning Scholars Program through Viterbo University.
