Classical guitarist performs in park

Classical guitarist David Rogers performed on a humid Saturday evening in the classically-inspired gazebo in Lake City to a crowd of about 30-40.

Rogers, of Eugene, Ore., was in the midwest playing two concerts – the other was in Illinois – before heading back to the west coast.

He performed classical pieces, original compositions, and arrangements of popular songs by the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Leonard Cohen, and Roxy Music.

Lake City Area Arts organized the concert.
