Community foundation announces new scholarship from Ann E. Holt
Ann E. Holt has endowed a new scholarship with The Greater Lake City Community Foundation that will be awarded annually to a graduating senior at Lincoln High School.
The endowment of $25,000 will generate enough in earnings to grant a $1,000 scholarship each year to a qualifying student.
The foundation provided this background on Holt:
“Ann is not a stranger to Lake City. Her mother, Elizabeth Lunde Holt, grew up in Lake City, daughter of Josie and Milton Lunde, with aunts and uncles and a long line of ancestors.
