Community group representatives get nature activity training
Representatives of groups from around the region came to Lake City Public Library Monday, Aug. 21, for a workshop on connecting children with nature.
Sara Holger led the event on behalf of Project Get Outdoors, a Wabasha-based non-profit she founded in 2005 dedicated to working “with community action groups to implement accessible after-school programs and activities for children to experience nature and outdoor recreation,” according to the non-profit’s website.
